The CUC2008 Tournament Organizing Committee is pleased to introduce the logo for this year’s national championships, to be hosted in Calgary August 14-17, 2008.

Created by local graphic designer Brandon Shaw, the logo showcases the skyline of the Rockies that beckons Calgarians and visitors alike to outdoor adventure in Calgary’s backyard.

The design also features Alberta prairie grasses blowing at the base of the mountains, representing the warm Chinook winds that can raise the temperature more than 20 degrees on a winter day.

The inclusion of the maple leaf celebrates how the CUC2008 will welcome Ultimate athletes from across the country to participate in Canada’s preeminent showcase of talent in the Open, Women’s, Masters, Juniors and Mixed divisions.
