T-7 Days Update PDF Print E-mail
Hello Captains,

--- First off, apologies to my fine Francophone friends. I took 13 years of bilingual education but it has been years since I have written anything substantial in Canada's other official language. Most important notes have been translated to French on our Facebook pages and our website. Merci pour votre attention. ---

Okay now that I have that off my chest, I can let you know that with 7 days left until CUC2008 there will be plenty of information flying at you, and your team-mates. I intend to give you, the captains, an insiders update and hope that you'll pass the most important bits along. If you ever have any questions about what is going on, check our website (http://calgary2008.com/) or send an email to info@calgary2008.com. If you're a Facebook nut we also have a lot of the same information on there. Here's today's update:

**SCHEDULES & FIELDS**
The master schedules are now online. Check them out at:
http://calgary2008.com/index.php/Tourament-Info/Tournament-Info/Tournament-Schedule.html

Fields 1-10 are at Glenmore Athletic Park, Fields 11-16 are at Calgary Rugby Union

**FIELD FOOD**
- Not just another dry bagel and frozen cream cheese -
As part of the Athlete’s Village, CUC2008 is hosting a tastebud-tantilizing slate of food vendors to keep you fueled over the four-day tournament. Field food at both locations will be provided by these vendors as pay-for items. Complimentary morning coffee and fruit will be served from 7am to 10am. There will not be any free field food available at CUC2008. Please prepare for this by either bringing along a few extra dollars for wraps, burgers, salads and other treats... or making sure to swing by a grocery store to bring your own eats.

**BIG-TOP PARTY - SATURDAY**
After three days of intense ultimate action, we know you’ll be geared up to party till the cows come home. There’s no better setting than the CRU, with a big top tent and a starry western sky. Join us for a great night of live music (band and DJ), Smash Bingo, and ulti shenanigans. Bring your friends and family, party with teammates and wrap up CUC2008 with a bang.

**GUEST PASSES**
If you've got a few teammates with tag-along spouses or friends be sure to get them in to all the events, dinners and shuttles with an official CUC2008 Guest Pass. Visit: http://calgary2008.com/index.php/guestpass.html to buy your guest passes.

That's it for today, there'll be more tomorrow, as well as an official email (in English and French) to all the players.

Talk soon,

-d
